Coco Indigo Photoshoot

For this project, the objective was to capture e-commerce-style photos of each outfit on a seamless white background, along with close-up shots of accessories.

Lighting Challenges:
Photographing white clothing on a seamless white background presents unique lighting challenges, especially outside of a studio setting. The natural lighting shifted throughout the day as the sun set, with large window panes to the right casting rays of light onto the floor and background. To overcome this, I used an 8-foot V-Flat foam board to block the light and maintain consistent exposure.

Technical Setup:
During the shoot, photos were instantly transferred from my Canon R camera to my laptop via tethering. This workflow allowed me to quickly review and organize images, ensuring every shot met the client’s expectations. Tethering proved invaluable for maintaining efficiency and accuracy throughout the process.

Creative Touch:
To add a dynamic element, I captured short videos of the model moving in the outfits. These clips provided an engaging way to showcase the clothing’s fit and flow.

Post-Production:
Basic retouching was applied to enhance the model’s appearance while keeping the final images clean and natural.
